June at TTT

On June, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote,

“Mine is the Month of Roses; yes, and mine
The Month of Marriages! All pleasant sights
And scents, the fragrance of the blossoming vine,
The foliage of the valleys and the heights.
Mine are the longest days, the loveliest nights;
The mower’s scythe makes music to my ear;
I am the mother of all dear delights;
I am the fairest daughter of the year.”

At The Tailored Tea, we are indeed enjoying spring, and as we move into the glorious month of June, we will celebrate with many brides-to-be and moms-to-be, children and adults observing birthdays, retirement luncheons, end of school parties, garden clubs, and book groups. We are so pleased that families and friends choose to gather and celebrate together at The Tailored Tea, and we hope to provide a fun, home-like atmosphere for everyone.
Growing up with three older brothers, I developed an interest in sports, so while baseball may be my favorite pastime, I’m looking forward to the World Cup competition beginning June 11, and we are offering the tea house as a weekday viewing venue for my fellow soccer/football fans. Our upstairs room/s will be open for groups or solo watching with tea and scones, or order from the daily menu. Check our fb page for daily schedule.
As summer ripens its offerings, we will have more fresh produce, including our little herb garden tended by Chef Jared, nurtured by our own organic teas composted back into the ground.
